The word Guru refers to the spiritual guide who enlightens disciples through his knowledge and teachings. Following the instructions of our Sadguru, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, we celebrated Gurupoornima at our school under the guidance of Br. Vivekamrita Chaithanya, Mathadhipathi of M.A. Math, Kozhikode. Around 300 students offered Matru Padapooja. Prasadam was also distributed to all the parents and students.
