The Annual Sports Meet for the academic year 2015-16 was conducted on the 5th of December, 2015 with pomp and glory. Lt. Col. Unnikrishnan Nair of 14 NCC Battalion, Pathanamthitta was the Chief Guest. In his inaugural address, he stressed the importance of a disciplined life style. His speech gave guidance to the students about pursuing careers in the NCC and other defence services.
House Captains took the pledge on Sports Day, with the oath being administered by the Sports Captain, Master Govind Satheesh. A march past was held in connection with Sports Day in which all the houses participated. Our Principal and the Chief Guest lit the torch before the commencement of all the events. Our Physical Education trainer, Mr. C.P. Bhaskaran Achary handed over the torch to the House Captains. The ILM sports team from classes V and VI presented stick fight and karate. This was a spectacular event and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. Various competitions such as kho-kho, short put, running race, long jump etc. were also held.
